PEACHTREE CORNERS, GA

NCA KIDS CENTER

5,338 sqft

2023 - 2024

for New Church of Atlanta

by VIV Architects/SL Architect

As the New Church of Atlanta (NCA) has grown throughout all generation groups, new babies and toddlers doubled the number after the COVID-19. The NCA masterplan phase II was revisited to provide the solution for the needs for larger space for baby cares (age of 0-24 months) and toddlers (2-4 years) worship/activities. In the east wing of the current NCA building A, 10 existing small classrooms were combined and born again to one Toddler Worship having clerestory windows at top of its double-story open space. The existing toddler space surrounded by glass storefront windows at the building corner was refurbished for the new Baby Cares. Two new restrooms located at the center of the corridor to serve children, teachers and staffs, were designed to have half of the sinks and water closets for boys and girls. Also new Sr. Pastor’s office was included in the project scope.
